  MEET RON CASSELL

Ron Cassell is the founder and President of 5C's Career Coaching and the creator of its Real World tested and proven 5C's career planning model and guide. After concluding a successful executive management career with several large tier 1 automotive supplier firms and running his own quality consulting company, Ron has launched this High Value low cost very effective career planning model and guide to share with others his time proven simple yet effective methods to assist you in planning and finding your next job or perhaps even that Dream Career you are seeking. These methods have allowed Ron to be the selected candidate of choice thereby receiving a job offer for over 80% of the positions (approximately 40) he has interviewed for during his career.

He has also shared these techniques with well over 50 of his co-workers, friends, acquaintances and family who have also used them successfully in their own career planning and job search efforts and in positioning themselves for promotions with their current employers. Many of these individuals have repeatedly encouraged Ron to become a professional career coach and to establish this common sense High Value low cost results producing career planning model and career coaching guide for the benefit of others and he has now taken their advice by founding 5C's Career Coaching. Ron's professional assignments include several senior level quality, human resources and training leadership assignments at the vice president and/or director level with each of the major automotive supplier firms he has been employed by. He successfully led efforts at each of them resulting in significantly improving their key customer, supplier and internal performance metrics as well as institutionalizing modern human development and employee training protocols. Mr. Cassell has also been employed as an out placement career coach and advisor. Ron holds a BSBA Degree from U of D Mercy as well as an MSA Degree from Central Michigan University. In 1990 he was selected as ITT Automotive's "Executive of the Year" and also chosen to attend ITT Corporation's three week long seminar for high potential leaders at Duke's Fuqua Business School. Ron was additionally promoted to Vice President during this same year.

Ron holds the following three ASQ certifications. CQE (certified quality engineer), CQM (certified quality manager), CQA (certified quality auditor). He is a certified RAB QMS-LA (quality management system lead assessor) as well as a two time MBNQA (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner). Ron has additionally demonstrated consistent, results proven expertise in both career planning and career coaching, and he is a CCMC (certified career management coach) as well as a CMCA (certified master career advisor)

In 1997 Ron was awarded ITT Corporations highest quality award the Gold Ring of Quality. He has held several elected positions in SME, HRPA and ASQ including serving as Worldwide Chair of ASQ's Human Development & Leadership Division. Ron has served as a book reviewer for ASQ's Quality Press, has had over 25 articles published in both national trade or society magazines as well as other publications. He has also been a frequently invited conference speaker and has served on several AIAG (Auto Industry Action Group) committees including the tier 1 supplier advisory committee providing assistance to the Big Three Task Force in developing the automotive Quality Standard QS-9000. He possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in the development and implementation of value adding quality management systems such as ISO/TS 16949, QS-9000, ISO 9000, Ford Q1 and GM Targets For Excellence.

Ron has successfully worked as a quality consultant, run his own quality consulting company and has been a college/seminar instructor. He is the president and founder of 5C's Career Coaching and the sole developer of your 5C's career planning guide.
